The UnipolMove service allows customers to purchase and collect our tickets directly by using the dedicated UnipolMove lane, enjoying the convenience of remaining inside their vehicle without needing to queue at the ticket office.

How it works

The service is automatically activated upon the first transit and involves no additional cost beyond the UnipolMove subscription fee and our applicable tariffs.

For customers affiliated with Consortia and Service Companies, activation must be requested through their designated partner.

To access the service, it is sufficient to:

    Properly position your UnipolMove device inside the vehicle

  • directions

    Enter the lane dedicated to electronic tolling services, identifiable by vertical and horizontal signage

  • confirmation_number

    Slow down near the first barrier and stop at the column to collect the automatically issued ticket

  • exit_to_app

    Vacate the lane and proceed to the pre-boarding area

The transit fees will be charged directly to your UnipolMove account, accessible within your reserved area.

The Tickets

Passengers with unwindowed vans up to 4.5 metres in length
Customers travelling with this type of vehicle may purchase all ticket types offered, which will be issued as follows:

Commercial Vehicles over 4.5 metres in length

  • From Villa San Giovanni, a ticket including both outbound and return will be automatically issued.
    If the customer has previously purchased a one-way ticket via the Messina lane, a return ticket will be issued at the next transit (provided this occurs within 60 days of the outbound trip). The fare will be calculated as a difference, in the same manner as for the other aforementioned vehicles.
  • From Messina, as an exception, a one-way ticket will be automatically issued.
     

Incorrect Ticket Procedure

In the event of a fare calculation error, it will be necessary to visit the Info Point at Villa San Giovanni or the pedestrian ticket office in Messina. At these offices, upon presenting the vehicle registration document and the UnipolMove device, customers may request the issuance of a new ticket with the correct fare. At the same time, by submitting the original incorrect ticket, its cancellation can be processed.
