The Aeolian archipelago includes 7 main volcanic islands: Lipari (the largest and most populated), Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi, and Panarea.
The Aeolian Islands are in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea, off the northeastern coast of Sicily near Milazzo. They are about 20 nautical miles (approximately 37 km) from the Sicilian coast and are administratively part of the Metropolitan City of Messina.

A valid ID and boarding pass (paper or digital) are required. Traghetti Card subscribers need only show their membership card. For vehicles, a valid vehicle registration document is also required.
You may carry one piece of luggage free of charge, with no weight limit. Commercial samples up to 20 kg are also considered luggage.
