Transporting ADR Dangerous Goods
Planning a trip involving the transport of ADR-classified dangerous goods?
Villa San Giovanni - Messina
Upon arrival, you must report to the ticket office, where you will be required to complete a declaration and waiver form specifying the type of goods being transported. A travel ticket will be issued accordingly.
Once you have completed and signed the form and obtained your ticket, proceed to the boarding area and hand the form to the on-duty operator, who will direct you to the appropriate vessel.
Please note: vehicles carrying flammable goods are permitted only on designated departures.
Messina Terminal Tremestieri - Villa San Giovanni
If departing from the Messina Tremestieri Terminal, it is recommended to send a boarding request at least 24 hours before your scheduled crossing to: terminaltremestieri@cometlog.com.
The following information must be included:
- Date of transit
- Description of the goods
- Class and UN number
- Quantity
- Vehicle license plate
- Final destination
- Waste form (if transporting hazardous waste)
Customers who provide this information in advance will be prioritized during safety checks at the Tremestieri Terminal as per current regulations.If you have not sent this information in advance, you may still request boarding feasibility directly at the ticket office.
The process will be the same: completing a declaration form and receiving your travel ticket, then proceeding to board with instructions from on-site staff.
