If you wish to make a trip with dangerous goods on the Messina – Salerno route and vice versa, to check the feasibility and availability for boarding, you must contact the C&T Customer Service at servizioclienti@carontetourist.it at least 4 working days before the travel date.

Do you need to travel transporting dangerous goods?
Boarding is allowed, subject to availability and only with prior authorization from the competent authorities.
What needs to be sent to submit a boarding request?
- Company name responsible for the transport
- Date of transport
- Name of the goods being transported
- Class and UN Number
- Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form (MDGF) of the goods
- Quantity
- Vehicle license plate
- Final destination
- Copy of the waste form (for hazardous waste)
What procedures must be followed on the day of departure once in possession of the travel ticket?
On the day of departure, the driver of the vehicle must go to the port ticket office to collect the boarding pass and wait for instructions from the personnel in charge of loading operations.
Vehicles transporting dangerous goods will be allowed access to the port area only shortly before the ship's departure time (approximately 3 hours prior).
