Dear Client, according to article 13 of the Italian Legal Code regarding the treatment of personal data (D.Lgs 196/03) Following you will find information regarding the treatment of your personal data by Caronte & Tourist S.p.A. to provide the services requested. 1) The personal data that you have provided in requesting the services of Caronte & Tourist S.p.A. or which were collected during the use of these services, including the data relative to telephone and or telecommunication exchanges will be used for the following purposes: a) to provide the services requested, b) to manage any complains and or or legal disputes, d) prevention/repression of fraud and any other illicit activity. In observance of the current regulations, according to D.Lgs 196/03 and it subsequent modifications, the data relative to telecommunication exchanges (data relative to the site and the connect to Internet - c.d. file logs) will be conserved for six (6) months for the completion of the invoice or the request for payment (in the case of paid services), according to article 123 of the above-mentioned D.Lgs 196/03 and subsequent modifications. The period will begin at the expiration date of the invoice. Conferment of your data is obligatory for providing the aforementioned services; in the case of missing, partial, or inexact information, it may be impossible to provide the services requested. 2) Upon your express consent and until you revoke it, your personal data, including data relative to telephone and/or telematic exchanges, can be treated directly or through third parties - through more than one form of communication (email, telephone, automatic calling systems without a live operator or fax) for the purposes indicated in point 1) of this letter as well as for purposes not directly connected to the provision of services requested, that is, for: a) promotional initiatives about products and/services provided by Caronte & Tourist S.p.A. b) promotional, informative, and commercial material sent by Text Messaging, email and/or telephone c) direct and indirect sales activities through various sales outlets, d) interactive business communications; e) data collection regarding the level of satisfaction of the clientele (also through third parties); f) promotional initiatives regarding unrelated companies; g) studies, statistical and market research. Consent for the treatment and the purposes indicated in point 2) is not obligatory; in the case of refusal, Caronte & Tourist S.p.A. will use your personal data solely for the purposes indicated in point 1). Treatment indicated in the preceding points 1) and 2) can be employed using paper or informatic and/or telecommunication and using modes and procedures in accordance with the current legal regulations. Within Caronte & Tourist S.p.A. your personal data will be treated by our Customer Care, Commercial, Marketing and Billing employees. These employees who operate under the direct authority of the "Personal Data Treatment Manager" and have been designated as "Personal Data Treatment" employees and have received adequate training for this purpose. The designated employees will receive adequate working instruction, with particular reference to the adoption of the basic security measures in order to guarantee the confidential nature and the security of the data and are essentially trained for: using data for invoices, printing and dispatching invoices to clients; Consulting; telemarketing and call center activities.
